Genesis Hydrocarbons Limited’s operation is focused on the oil rich Niger Delta region in Nigeria and across Sub-Saharan Africa.  We continue to pursue opportunities to acquire and develop a portfolio of profitable assets. We leverage on our strong technical and financial capabilities to identify and unlock new hydrocarbon systems, growing proven reserves and maximising production.

Genesis Hydrocarbons Limited has executed a Technical and Financial Services Agreement with Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited for participation in the 2013/2014 marginal fields bid round in Nigeria. Waltersmith Petroman Oil is an indigenous Oil Company incorporated in 1996 with technical and financial expertise and capacity in the development of marginal fields and currently operates the Ibigwe field in Oil Mining Lease 16.

Genesis Hydrocarbons Limited has also received formal commitment from Exterran Nigeria Limited for technical support services regarding larger acquisitions in Nigeria and the Sub-Saharan region. Exterran is a global company with a strong presence in Nigeria and has world class experience in contract operations, sale, operations and maintenance of gas processing and compression plants, crude oil exploration and production and produced water processing equipment.

Genesis having submitted a successful technical and commercial bid in the 2020 marginal oilfields bid round in Nigeria was awarded participatory interest in the Egbolom marginal oil field (PPL 202) in the Niger Delta as joint operator.
